🌟Review (5/5) 🌟
The fourth short story in the book ‘A-Z of Horror’ was entitled ‘D is for Detour.’ However, there was a notice that said the original entry from the author was called ‘D is for Degenerate’ but it was removed due to its offensive nature. Well of course I had to read the banned material so here we are!
Because the whole story revolves around Lempit and his sick desires toward animals, I was squeamish and visibly uncomfortable for the entire thing. But hey, that’s very on-brand for the season. There are different kinds of horrors and this was definitely horrifying for me.
What I love most about this is the satisfying (no pun intended) ending. What goes around truly comes around.
