Open for Book Suggestions!

Hi everyone! I initially made a bookstagram account to not bombard my family and friends about book-related things I constantly post but since then I received messages from authors asking for book reviews in exchange for providing their art for free. I thought they were virus links or phishing scams because my opinion really doesn’t matter that much so I mostly ignored them. Turns out, that was a standard marketing strategy. I never knew.

Since I’ve been enjoying writing reviews lately and I’m looking to try as many genres as I can in this lifetime, I just want to share that I’m open to doing a review for any author willing to let me read their book for free. Please know that I’m not a professional blogger, author, or any of that kind. Just a normal reader. 🙂

Some notes to consider:

I’m an Asian female in my late 20s so if you need a specific demographic please consider that.
I love YA, mystery, and fiction. I do read non-fiction, mostly self-help.
I recently loved the Six of Crows duology. Best read of 2023 so far. I also loved reading the Bridgerton series so I’m starting to open up to spicy reads.
For the review, I have a Facebook page, an Instagram account, and Amazon (Kindle). I can post reviews there.

Depending on the length of your material and how much this thing takes off, I want to have a review out within 7 days. I like writing my reviews while every emotion is fresh.
No, I don’t intend to get any monetary incentive from any of this. I just want to read new materials and I’m enjoying writing. I thought, might as well help some indie authors while I’m doing the things I love.
